My Journey
From lawyer and financial planner to impact speaker — the story of a forced landing turned life mission.
The Lawyer and the Planner
A private practice lawyer for 5 years, then advisor and financial planner at Desjardins for over 10 years, Jean-François long operated in a world where performance, rigor, and excellence were part of daily life. From the outside, everything seemed fine. Until the warning lights started turning on.

The Turning Point - May 2018
After years of overperformance, minimized stress, and ignored signals, Jean-François receives a diagnosis of major depression. This pivotal moment marks the beginning of deep introspection to understand what led him there — and to rebuild on healthier foundations.

The Mission - Today
Advancing healthy performance by helping leaders and organizations recognize human signals earlier — signals that sustainably influence engagement, psychological health, and collective performance. Jean-François offers a concrete, credible, and deeply human approach, already shared with organizations across multiple sectors throughout the country.

My Values
Authenticity
A true word, rooted in lived experience.
Humanity
Because before the role, there is always a person.
Vigilance
Reading signals better to avoid flying blind.
Courage
Dare to face reality to move forward better.
Kindness
Creating impact without losing the human dimension.
Finding meaning in one's story to serve others
Looking back, I realize how much this lack of dialogue can lead us to trivialize stress, ignore signals, and delay help that is actually available.
Today, I've chosen to give meaning to this journey by contributing to the conversation about psychological health in our organizations, institutions, and homes. Because behind the issues of performance, absenteeism, or distress, there are always people first.
Through my interventions, I offer a more lucid, more human, and more empowering perspective on these realities — with the very concrete hope of changing a trajectory, preventing the worst, and helping people act before the breaking point. When you find meaning in what you've been through, you can turn your story into a lever in service of others.
